Join us for the ultimate adventure of a lifetime with Blue River Aviation’s Denali Flightseeing Tour.

Situated in the heart of the Alaska Range, Denali offers a dramatic backdrop of soaring peaks and sweeping vistas that will take your breath away. Our experienced pilots will navigate the aircraft to provide you with the best possible views of Denali, the surrounding mountains, and the park’s stunning landscapes.

Fun fact: Denali is technically taller than Everest. The standard method of measuring mountains uses height from sea level. Using that method, Everest measures 29,032 feet (8,848.86 meters) above sea level. Denali measures 20,194 feet (6,190 meters) above sea level. Now, this is where it gets tricky. Denali’s base sits at 2,000 feet above sea level, whereas Everest’s base sits at 14,000 feet above sea level. This does, however, confirm that everything is bigger in Alaska — that’s how that saying goes, right?

Depart from the picturesque Palmer, Alaska airport, with stunning mountain backdrops. Embark on your exciting journey towards Denali, soaking in the serene surroundings.

Pointers & Packing List

You bring the goods, we’ll lead the way

Pack a snack

Being mind blow can make you hungry! We recommend packing a light lunch for your experience. For safety reasons, we ask that it can fit in a small paper bag.

Dress in layers

It can get below zero at higher altitudes. We recommend dressing in layers and bringing a pair of gloves. Its hard to see when you’re shivering!

Shades are a must

We live with our heads in the cloud and it’s sunny up here. While you might take them off for viewing, we recommend bringing a pair of quality sunglasses for your comfort.

Take some photos

Modern smartphones take amazing pictures, but if you want to bring something a little more powerful make sure it has a strap. It’s going to be a long way down!
